Infrared Cameras Playstation Eye
Infrared cameras such as the modified Playstation (PS) Eye are mainly used in interactive setups such as touchscreens which use a camera to interpret changes in an invisible infrared light field. These points of interaction known as "blobs" are then relayed to a computer for processing and output as mouse events. Camera-based setups are prone to interference from ambient infrared light so assessing your location's lighting environment is important. For more information on building a camera-based setup please see our main site here. We also sell kits for building each type of setup on our store here.
